Six Iranian films and documentaries have been chosen to compete at the Golden Knight International Film Festival in Russia.
The 24th edition of the festival selected six Iranian films to compete in various sections of the 10-day event, which will commence in the Russian city of Sevastopol on Monday, May 22.
The film festival’s documentary film category will screen ‘Bridge’ by Amir-Hossein Noruzi, ‘Protected Oaks’ by Mehdi Nurmohammadi, ‘Lonely Road’ by Mohammadreza Hafezi and ‘Ramadan’ by Yasin Khoshamad-Zehi.
‘Beluga’ by Mehdi Jafari and ‘My Decision’ by Ehsan Abdipur will compete in the official section of the festival.
All six Iranian films have been produced by Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB).
The Golden Knight film festival has been running for 27 years and designates awards for films in various categories.
This year’s Russian film festival will have its closing-day event on May 31.
